IANTD Advanced Nitrox Diving......!
Ever done a decompression dive? were you trained to do it? and even more importanly did you plan it or simply "hope your computer sorted your profile out"! Advanced Nitrox gets you doing it right.... with use of nitrox to accelerate your decompression and make your dives more fun and safer!
The program is designed to extend the divers knowledge with O2 mixes of 22 to 40% and up to 100% for decompression. It further develops diving skills and provides a greater understanding of the Nitrox diving concept. The program employs EANx mixes up to 1.5 PO2. The program qualifies divers to dive to 42 msw and carry out decompression stops for up to 15 minutes.
At Plymouth Diving Centre the course is run in such a way that you will first learn about your new equipment set up and all about the theory behind diving to 40m with different gasses doing decompression. Then we will go to the pool so you can try your new setup and get comfortable with it before going into the sea. We believe that you need to be able to cope with real situations so we do all our training from our boats and in real sea conditions. You will be doing 4 sea dives and at the end of the course you will be able to safely plan and do decompression diving.
Plymouth Diving Centre offers a complete range of dives that suit the technical divers, for you to enjoy both during and on completion of your IANTD Advanced Nitrox course. Many superb opportunities to explore some of the most exciting dive sites in the area, and stay there for longer.
